Who We Are
SAFI Living Homes provides substance-free furnished housing within privately owned small multifamily residential communities in Denver and Lakewood for adults committed to maintaining their sobriety.
SAFI means clean in Swahili, reflecting the foundation of our homes: a clean home, a sober environment, clear expectations, personal responsibility and accountability.
Our housing model is intentionally simple:
Four Residents | Two Bedrooms | Two Beds per Bedroom | One Shared Home | Small Multifamily Community
Each resident has an individual furnished twin bed in a bedroom shared with one other resident. The kitchen, living areas, bathroom, and in-suite laundry are shared by all four residents.
Our homes include furnished common areas, utilities, and high-speed Wi-Fi. Bedrooms are being converted to the shared twin-bed configuration in stages.
Focus on your recovery. We provide the furnished home and sober environment around it.
OUR SHARED-LIVING APPROACH
Each 2-bedroom SAFI residence is configured for four residents total — two residents per bedroom.
Our residences are located within privately owned small multifamily communities. Residents share an everyday household while remaining part of a small residential community that supports connection and accountability beyond the individual home.
Each resident is responsible for maintaining sobriety, caring for their bed and designated space for belongings, participating in routine household upkeep, respecting shared spaces and quiet hours, communicating appropriately about household matters, and respecting the privacy and sobriety of other residents.
Your bed and designated space for belongings are yours to use. The upkeep of the home and property is a shared responsibility.
WHO SAFI LIVING HOMES IS FOR
SAFI provides sober furnished housing for independent adults who can manage their own daily living and personal recovery while participating responsibly in a four-person household and small multifamily community.
Our homes may serve:
- Adults transitioning from treatment or other recovery settings
- Working adults, professionals, and tradespeople in recovery
- Veterans in recovery
- Students and adults continuing their education
- Adults navigating housing or life transitions while maintaining sobriety
- Individuals seeking a furnished bed in a shared sober bedroom and home
- Other qualified adults seeking substance-free furnished housing
A SOBER HOME
SAFI residences are substance-free homes. Residents are expected to maintain sobriety and comply with residence requirements while respecting the shared living environment.
Sobriety matters. Personal responsibility matters. Communication matters. The home matters.
Smoking & Vaping
Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside the residence, garage, and all enclosed areas. Tobacco smoking is permitted only outdoors in the property’s designated smoking area, with proper disposal and in accordance with applicable law.
Alcohol, Cannabis & Other Substances
Residents may not use or possess alcohol, recreational cannabis, or illicit substances on or off the property.
Housing & Outside Support
SAFI provides recovery-oriented sober housing. SAFI does not provide medical or behavioral-health treatment, therapy, personal care, transportation, or case management. Residents arrange treatment and outside support separately. Referring organizations and outside service providers do not change SAFI’s residence requirements or make admission and household decisions on SAFI’s behalf.

Rooted in Kenya, where our founder was born, this is not a theme. It is a design approach focused on creating environments that feel stable, welcoming, and deeply human.
Color and authentic Kenyan artwork—sourced directly from Kenya—are intentionally integrated throughout each home, helping create a warm, grounded residential environment.
As an owner-operated housing provider rooted in Kenyan hospitality, our homes are personally designed and maintained with direct accountability—supporting everyday sober living without turning the residence itself into a treatment environment.

Four 2-bedroom residences within privately owned small multifamily communities in Denver and Lakewood are being prepared for shared sober living.
Each residence includes furnished living areas, a full kitchen, in-suite laundry, high-speed Wi-Fi, and onsite parking according to residence. Pet-friendly options for approved cats and dogs are available.
Sober Living Configuration: Four residents. Two bedrooms. Two residents per bedroom. Small multifamily community.
Bedrooms are being converted in stages. “Coming Soon” images are design concepts; actual twin-bed photos will replace them after each room is furnished. A bed is available for occupancy only after that residence is ready and its admission process is complete.
